Will cold temperatures damage essential oil?

I have a diffuser essential oils for my vehicle. I have not used much because I rarely remember to put oil to and from the truck. I wonder if I can just leave the oil in the truck at all times. . . it can be cold at night. So far the coldest 14 degrees F. Does it harm?

Essential oils must be stored in a dry, cool and dark. But leaving them in your truck in May cause it to freeze, which could compromise the effectiveness and even the smell of oils. Try to keep the bottle of oil in your purse or even your coat pocket to ensure he gets the room for the truck and back.

No. Conversely, heat is destructive of the essential oils and sun. That is why they are packaged in dark bottles. / Jabril
