Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa Agarbatti, 250 G (Pack of 2)

Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa Agarbatti, 250 G (Pack of 2)
Customer Review: BEST INCENSE AVAILABLE IN U.S. !
I have tried cheaper and always come back…I have tried more expensive and nothing beats the aroma. In local stores it is almost impossible to find…I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t get Nag Champa anymore!

Customer Review: good
Product came quickly!

Only 1 minor issue: The bag (inside the box) the incense came in was not sealed and incense powder was “leaking” out.

Incense smells good, lights quickly.

Thanks Tom!

Customer Review: Buy it!
This book is excellent. Whether like me you are a professional, or just someone who is interested in Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy. Its well written, easy to understand & has some very good recipes. Highly Recommended.
Customer Review: Very useful
Like many books on aromatherapy, this one does not attempt to do everything. It is not a general beginners’ book which spends much of its time telling you what an essential oil is and how to put them in the bath; it does not go into detail on massage or chemistry. The first 50 pages cover such topics briefly, but the bulk of the book is devoted to profiles of individual essential oils and recipes for blends. The essential oil profiles are usually two pages long each. They list the botanical name, family, location of the plant, extraction method, colour and odour of the oil, and description of the plant. There is a little more detail on the history of the plant and oil, precautions if relevant, and then the properties are listed (e.g. Clary sage: Tonic, sedative, hypotensive, anti-convulsant and euphoric). The really useful part is where the uses are described. They are divided into body systems, e.g. circulatory, respiratory, reproductive, nervous, muscular, emotion (to continue using the Clary sage entry), and then listed as follows: RESPIRATORY SYSTEM - Relaxes spasms in asthma due to anxiety or other emotional tension. REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM - Very useful for treating PMS and period pains. Can also be beneficial for infertility. This is followed by a list of blends for each system, which is particularly useful if you want to make a certain oil the focus of your blend e.g. MUSCULAR clary sage 5 rosemary 4 coriander 4 The last section of the book is devoted to recipes. There are sections on baths; general massage blends; face and bodycare; first-aid and holidays; pregnancy, mother and baby; blends for men; and then by ailment, again classified by body system e.g. circulatory disorders, skin disorders, emotional problems. Most ailments will have several different blends suggested, and the recipes are usually for three essential oils per blend (as is standard in aromatherapy). The 60 oils discussed are the standard repertoire for home use, and are recommended with due regard for safety. The dilutions are sensible and the recipes are practical. The vast number of recipes included, and the simplicity of each one, means that even if you only have a small number of oils, there are bound to be recipes somewhere which include them. There is a glossary of medical terms at the end, suggested further reading and a good index. This is a good general-purpose book for blending oils. It is nicely laid-out, very easy to follow, and excellent for cross-referencing. It will be useful to the beginner and the professional alike.

Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy for Your Child: Essential Oil Remedies for Children of All Ages
Price: ?9.99
Customer Review: for anyone interested in using aromatherapy for your kids!!
This book will introduce you to the joys of using essential oils in the home and for all the family. The practical guide is essential reading for those who are less familiar with aromatherapy. It is aimed at giving general information and practical advice about the home treatment of many common childhood ailments. Instructions on storing, blending and diluting are explained and also the author guides you through simple, yet highly effective techniques such as massage,inhalations,foot-baths and sponging down, etc. There are recipes to encourage sleep, treatments for colds, earache, nappy rash, colic, headlice, etc. I have used a few of the recipes on my “little one” and often can soothe away the hurts with a “magic oil” and I know that this book has helped give me the confidence in using aromatherapty and importantly promoting a sense of calm and well-being when my “little one” feels poorly. I highly recommend this book for any mums out there!!

Customer Review: For once the title DOES say it all - a wide ranging book
Very much a Bible for the practicing aromatherapist, this book covers the ground explored by most other books - i.e monographs of a wide reange of essential oils, history of aromatics, extraction methods, etc etc - and much much more. Battaglia provides excellent anatomy, physiology and pathology chapters, linking the use of essential oils therapeutically with clinical science. He goes into pharmacology in some depth and also covers aspects of the therapeutic encounter itself - practitioner self development, the clinical environment, etc. Rightly, this book is being used as a ’set text’ by some aromatherapy schools. It is clear, well written and informative. Essential for the serious student and a marvellous reference for the practitioner.

Customer Review: Second one
This is a gift because I love mine. It would be perfect if the beans didn’t “lump up”. Sometimes they all fall down over my shoulders onto my chest when I need it on my neck.

Customer Review: Smells great & feels so good, BUT does not last forever….
I am sensitive to smells so I was a little worried when I purchased this. I wanted one without scents. However, to my surprise I actually like the smell. It is not overpowering and is quite soothing. The shoulder wrap comes in a resealable plastic bag. It can be used cold or hot. I have only used it hot. I put it in the microwave for 3-3:30 minutes and it usually lasts for about an hour. It does get very hot during that time. As for the color, I think they all vary. The one I received is red with gold stars and moons. I am happy with this product, but have not tried any others to compare it to. I gave it 4 stars because I was hoping it would stay toasty longer.

Customer Review: Good oil summary book
I have only recently been introduced to this book and for its price it is excellent. It gives useful overviews of most of the commonly used essential oils but it is most useful if you want an easy introduction to the chemistry behind them. In conjunction with the Caddy Blending Calculator (CD) this can greatly assist in the understanding of synergistic blending.
Customer Review: Don’t leave home without it.
This is an excellent book for students and qualified aromatherapists. Very handy and easy to understand. The lay out is great and very colourful making it “idiot-proof” when chosing aromatherapy blends. I keep a copy of this in my bag when I see clients just in case I want to double check something. In fact, it was that good, that I bought a second copy to keep in the office as well for those unexpected phone calls!

Customer Review: Lovely foliage, shame about the massage!
On the positive side at least it is fairly professionally done, but the actual content seems very flimsy to me, especially the massage which is very superficial indeed. The introduction to the aromatherapy oils is also rather superficial, but I guess it does get across their main point, which seems to be promoting their own products. There's also a long session on self-massage which goes on for far too long. The nicest part, and where they seemed to be on safer ground was the facial…so more of a beauty angle than a serious massage video.

Books Aromatherapy For Home Use by Christine Westwood
Synopsis An introductory guide to aromatherapy for the home user with easy to use reference section on essential oils.
Customer Review: Really good quick reference guide
This a really easy book to use. It has a guide in the back where you can see which oils are recommended for a particular problem either emotional (e.g. feeling down) or physical (e.g. dry skin) and it will recommend several oils to suit your needs. It also goes though each oil in turn and tell you how the oil should be used (for example added to a bath, in a drink, or burned). Additionally it provides warnings about when the oil is not safe to use (e.g. not suitable during pregnancy). However, aside from its quick reference purposes it is not so helpful. A bigger thicker book would be needed for detailed descriptions of how to mix and use the oils and if you know nothing about aromatherapy oils I wouldn’t recommend you buying just this book alone. Think about buying it along with The Fragrant Pharmacy which is a lot more thorough (and a lot more pages). I like both bokks for different reasons and am glad I own them both.

Customer Review: Essential reading for a career in Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy
I originally borrowed this book from the library, as I was unsure what to expect & have lots of books already on Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy. However, this book is different. This is for people who are thinking about a career in Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy and yet are unsure of how to achieve this. It covers issues such as different studying options & which one would suit you, what kind of Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy do you want to practice, (there is more than one type), & how to acheive the most of your time as a student ie. building relationships with other colleagues, practioners etc. Another interesting feature is that the author uses case studies for each chapter, to show different approaches that are possible & also the pitfalls that you should be aware of. One lesson which I have learnt is, start as you mean to go on; set boundaries (the exchange of money can often be an issue especially with friends & family). I found this an invaluable resource for my future career (I am currently studying Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy @ college) so much so, that I came on Amazon & bought myself a copy.
Customer Review: Helpful
I found this book wonderful. It starts with questions about why you wish to study aromatherapy and then goes on to detail cost and training colleges etc. Once you have qualified it is a book to always keep to hand. It gives practical advice on being an aromatherpist. I think this book is excellent. There are many books covering essential oils and how to use them on the market today but not a book such as this one. Not only is it a book on aromatherapy but also on running a small business. I would recommend it to anyone!!

Bath Heaven Aromatherapy CD Giftbag
Bathing was not originally undertaken with hygiene in mind and the first records for the use of baths date back as far as 3000 B.C. At this time water had a strong religious value, being seen as a purifying element for both body and soul, and so it was not uncommon for people to be required to cleanse themselves before entering a sacred area. The Greeks and Romans considered bathing to be a very important part of their lifestyles. Today we associate bathing not only with cleanliness but also with relaxation and time to chill out, have our own time and space and rejuvenate our mental as well as physical state. With this in mind the Bath Heaven CD gift bag has been created. This bag contains a high quality mood CD. Put on the CD turn down the lights, light the candles and pour in the bath foam to provide a beautiful enveloping aroma. The serene music seemingly floats on the steam. You take a sip of wine, lie back and enjoy the feeling of relaxation that pervades every muscle in your body. . . It really doesnt get any better than this. The gift bag contains a stylish burner with simmering granules and tea-lights a highly perfumed foam bath, body scrub and facecloth. This bag makes a perfect gift for any age.

Customer Review: Working in Synergy
This book provides an extensive guide on the spiritual and psycological effects of Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy, but not only that. It proposes a merging of Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy with the oriental healing system based on the ying yang and elements theory. As a Feng Shui practicioner and a professional Aromathepist, I found this book deeply moving. As other books, It gives very helpful blending hints and recipes. The new aspect, though, talks about the oils's effects on the human Qi (energy). It effectivelly discusses the oil's main element (fire, water, earth, metal, wood), in relation to the emotional aspects that the elements spring in the psyche, and the specificaly related organ. Yes, the elements healing system part may seem basic for people that have workng with oriental medicine, but it is wonderfully explained for the newcomer. I feel this book has helped me to take my practice a bit further. I needed something more than the chemical aspects of the oils (I have several books on those), and this books was a wonderful answer to that.
