Customer Review: The Best Soaps Around!
I can’t say enough positive things about Plantlife soaps. I came to natural soaps for a very specific reason–a husband whose eczema was virtually out of control. For years, we’d tried keeping him on soaps designed for sensitive skin. While this would generally calm flare-ups slightly, it wouldn’t prevent them from creeping up again. Admittedly, since beginning to use Plantlife’s soaps, my husband is NOT eczema free… BUT his skin is drastically improved and his flare-ups are down to about 10% of what they once were. The scents of Plantlife’s soaps are remarkably pleasant too. I’ve yet to find one that is offensive to my nose–they’re delicately done, not over-powering or too “perfume-y.” So if you’re thinking of switching to herbal soaps to treat your skin to the best, most natural clean possible–try some Plantlife soaps. If you’re simply looking for some aromatherapy or some way to mix-up your usual soap routine–try some Plantlife soaps. I’d be willing to bet that if you returned to “normal,” store-bought soaps afterwards, you’d do so grudgingly and reluctantly!
Customer Review: Awesome Soap
This soap makes you feel tingly all over. Clean, fresh and tingly. It’s such a treat to wash with and smells heavenly.

Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy for the Soul: Healing the Spirit with Fragrance and Essential Oils

Fragrances, with their intriguing ability to evoke emotions, memories, and visions, have played an important role in the world’s spiritual traditions since the dawn of time. Drawn from the essential oils of plants, they serve as an earthly connection with the Divine. In her fascinating book, renowned aromatherapist Valerie Ann Worwood breaks new ground with an in-depth study of the use of fragrance in spirituality. Drawing on the pioneering research of eminent scientists and the insights of leading spiritual teachers, she provides exhaustive guidelines detailing how fragrance can be used in many spiritual practices, from Shinto and Buddhism to Native American rites. Extensive charts, exercises, and formulas demonstrate the use of aroma in healing, prayer, and meditation and in conjunction with vibrational and energetic healing. Covering more than 70 essential oils, this extraordinary guide helps readers call upon the divine power of fragrance to enrich their own spiritual journeys.

Customer Review: Depends what you’re looking for
If you’re seeking a book that culminates much of the already available information in one place, this book could be good for you. It provides guidance on suggested blends for various ailments of a more spiritual nature. The reason I have given this a 3 star rating is because this is not what I was after. For me, a book of this kind hopefully gives you the tools to make your own evaluations of formulae and the ‘grass roots’ to do it all yourself. I was looking for a book that provided guidance that all the other aromatherapy books do not - it didn’t. If you have a general aromatherapy book, or one of the other Worwood books, this one won’t add much marginal benefit.
Customer Review: Not like her other books.
Although somewhat informative it did not contain the recipes I was looking for like the ones in her “The Complete Book of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy” which I’ve used so much it has the scents of many essential oils amongst its pages.
