What a rip off. I wish I had read the reviews before buying. All I wanted were some good recipes and all I got were a bunch of percentages for this and that. Maybe I can use some of the pictures for decoupage.

This book not only explains the mechanics of how to make the soap but it also explains the chemistry in practical ways. This enables me to make up my own recopies to the amount I desire with the proper balance of lye to different kind of oils. It also has starter recipes for the beginners. In short, I think this book is great for the beginner and one who wants to begin to be more creative in their soap making.

This is a really nice assortment for any Bath Junkies. The packaging is cute and colorful, making them suitable for gifting. The bath oil fizz makes a nice, moisturing bath sans bubbles so it’s suitable for whirlpool tubs. The powder fizzes gently when added to water and disaptes into a pool of wonderful color. It’s perfectly scented, not too heavy and the fragrances are wonderful from the relaxing Lavender Fields to the invigorating Mint Tingle (my personal fav). My daughter had a few mosquito bites and the Oatmeal Honey Almond, seemed to instantly calm the itching so I’ll be purchasing a full-size of this sweet gem. The unique scents of Ginger Fusion, Moonlight in Vermont, and Raspberry Spice are intoxicating. This is the perfect assortment for any bathing beauty in your life from young to young at heart. These would also make a wonderful party favor for a wedding or bridal or baby shower.

As the title of the book implies it is a guide. It doesn’t imply it is the be all and end all in aromatherapy information. It gives a great overall understanding and a wonderfully basic place to begin one’s start into Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy. I found the book to be of invaluable information. In fact, this book is one of my text books for a college level aromatherapy course I am taking. Combined with Valerie Cooksley’s Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy: Soothing remedies to restore, rejuvenate and heal, it is a great asset to any Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy library.

A wonderful little book that I couldn’t put down till the last page. Most of the essential oils used are common and relatively inexpensive. Tips for oil and massage use for all age ranges, first aid tips, meditations. All all-purpose, must-have for those just getting started and for the serious minded in using essential oils and massage for health and wellbeing.

Customer Review: The ultimate aromatherapy book
I read this book at a library and just could not put it down. She includes healing tactics, soothing recipes, and even stuff for kids. I was amazed at how fun aromatherapy could be. I use recipes from her book and others, but hers have proven to be the most successful in what they are supposed to do. I know that any aromatherapy fan would love to have this book.
