Nectaire Reed Diffuser - Vanilla Bean

Nectaire Reed Diffuser - Vanilla Bean
Customer Review: Great Product!
The smell of vanilla bean is great; the diffuser works wonderfully since you can smell the vanilla bean throughout the room. I will purchase it again and again. I really, really like it.
Customer Review: vanilla bean diffuser
I was a bit worried about ordering this online and not having a chance to smell it in person before purchasing it. I am very satisfied though with the smell. I do not overly scented candles or diffusers so I was very pleased to have this not be like that. I would purchase another diffuser from this company.

Customer Review: Great Book for Preggies
I’m really enjoying this book — it’s practical, educational, and easy to understand. It’s so slim you can read it in one sitting, but it’s full of useful information. The beginning is dedicated to explaining a bit about aromatherapy during pregnancy. Most importantly, it lists the oils not to use during this time, as a number of oils may be harmful to the baby. The book then lists the different ways to use oils (steam, bath, etc. — you can skip over this if, like me, you’ve been practicing for some time). Then there are recipes for all the great stuff that happens during pregnancy — morning sickness, nausea, backache, swelling, etc. There’s also a recipe for preventing stretch marks. The author swears that no woman she’s ever used the blend on has ever gotten stretch marks. Now, I’m a skeptic at heart, but I’m also vain, so I’ve been using it. I’ve found the backache and varicose veins/swelling recipes to be incredibly helpful. There are also recipes to use during labor, which I plan to use when the time comes. I’ve actually been very disappointed with the lack of pregnancy/aromatherapy books out on the market (I’ve only found this one and one other that’s proven to be pretty disappointing). This kit brings two nice candles and CD (that I haven’t heard so can’t comment on). This book, though, is proving to be indespensible.

Customer Review: The Art of Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy: The Healing and Beautifying Properties of the Essential Oils of Flowers and Herbs
This is a great book for both the beginner and practising Aromatherapist. His health of knowledge is clearly demonstrated in the discussion on essential oils - It’s a must. Tisserand is one of the foremost authorities on Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy and has published many books. In our natural therapy college, we strongly recommend his books to all our medical aromatherapy students. It’s on our Bookshelf and we use it regularly. The lack of an in-depth index is a bit troublesome, however, after you’ve read the book you’ll have less and less trouble finding what you want.
Customer Review: Too difficult to research
This book may contain great information, but unless you’re committed to sitting down and reading it cover to cover, this won’t be your most helpful resource. This book has no index in the back, so if you want to look up a specific topic, you’ve only got chapter and section headings, and then you have to scan through pages and pages to find what you’re looking for. I’ve got 4 aromatherapy books, and I barely ever crack this one open because it’s too much work to find what I’m looking for. There are much better books out there!

It begins with the basics on plants, oils, quality, safety, and chemistry. It then progresses into blending methods, an exploration of the skin and olfaction, and finally a concrete discussion about integrating aromatherapy into bodywork practice.
