Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy A-Z (Hay House Lifestyles)
Aromatherapy‘>Aromatherapy A-Z is a fresh and easy step-by-step reference guide. The authors have compiled a vast amount of information on essential oils, humankind’s first medicine. Well-preserved oils were found in alabaster jars in King Tut’s tomb, and in biblical times, frankincense, myrrh, rosemary, hyssop, and spikenard were used for anointing and healing the sick. Essential oil recipes and blends were found in the Bible and ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Essential oils, the authors tell us, are very powerful healing agents that detoxify the blood in the human body. They are antibacterial, anticancerous, and antiviral. Essential oils stimulate the immune system and have been effective in the treatment of such diseases as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis. Use this well-organized book to find the combinations of oils that are most beneficial for treating a variety of illnesses and physical problems naturally. Then, enjoy the sense of emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being that the oils will bring.
Customer Review: Waaayyyy too good to be true.
This book is basically compiled information from lectures and seminars by D. Gary Young, N.D., and product information by Young Living Essential Oils. Once you read the critical review from Dr. Stephen Barrett about D. Gary Young, N.D. and his businesses at www.quackwatch.org/11Ind/young.html, you will probably drop this book like a hot potato.
Customer Review: Couldn’t Put it Down
This book is easy to follow and is very colorful. I was reading my friends book and now I’m putting it on my wish list for the holiday!

Making Herbal Dream Pillows : Secret Blends for Pleasant Dreams (The Spirit of Aromatherapy)
A lavish book offering step-by-step instructions for creating herbal-scented pillows for custom-made dreams.

Customer Review: Interesting
This was a Christmas gift for my 30 yr old daughter in law. (It was on her wish list). She read me a few ‘recipes’ from the book over the holidays. The book seemed to hold her attention. The recipes sounded fun and made one want to start on them right away. But a trip to an Herbal Store is definitely needed. There are a lot of herbs required to make the pillows that won’t be on your pantry shelf. Overall though, she seemed happy with the book. 5 stars if there weren’t so many herbs not commonly on hand. The book is nicely made, not cheap looking.
Customer Review: beautiful
I give this book four stars because of the beautiful artwork and wonderful recipes. Very beautifully illustrated and simple to follow. However I have one complaint: most of the herbal recipes call for mugwort which I cannot find. I haven’t yet tried any of the recipes in here because of that but in my opnion it is very original and definitely a keeper.

A Bouquet of Aroma-Therapy: Essential Oils & Fragrant Massage: Floral Remedies & Elegant Extracts, Etc., Etc (Gift of Health Series)
Customer Review: An excellent handbook for the serious practitioner
This book is excellent for the learner who is progressing from a beginners level to medium level competency. It covers the main areas of the subject with clarity and allows the reader to explore the complexities of the subject. I would recommend it to anyone who is commencing on the path to being an expert practitioner and also to the person who has some experience in the subject.
