Customer Review: Essential oils , never too old to learn!!!
I have been using essential oils for several years, making my own skin care products, and sharing products with friends. I live in a small town and we all shop from the internet or drive 3 hours to Vegas to get what we need in the home. We were spending a lot of money on personal care items so I decided to get more informed on making my own lotions and fragrances. Colleen Dodt’s book is a must have in my library! I would love to meet her as her personality jumps right out of this book. There are so many things to learn from this book. For those novice and experienced users of essential oils, this book is a wealth of information. It is fun to read and has not made it to the bookshelf yet!! Thank you,Colleen, you did a great job!!! This is a good quick review short version to get started but I personally perfered a more in depth book.

These Inhalers are designed so that you can “fill-your-own” inhaler, changing the scent as often as you want. Insert cotton ball into glass vial, add a few drops essential oil or synergy blend, screw vial into vented gold top, then add bottom and top caps. To use, remove cap…inhale scent. To change to a different blend, simply remove cotton ball, rinse if necessary, place a new cotton ball in vial, and begin anew with a few drops of a synergy blend or essential oil. Easily replace your used diffuser reeds that won’t retain fragrance any longer from your reed diffuser’s oil. The replacement diffuser reeds come packaged in various amounts and are the standard 3mm thick. Our reed diffuser sticks are 12 inches long and can easily be cut shorter with any pair of scissors.

The reed diffusers are great for a nice clean scent in your home. The reeds do not have to be changed that often and the scent lasts a long time. The design of the bottles with the reeds adds an attractive combination to any decor. I recommend these highly. Thanks.

Customer Review: Just not there
This is a good reference book for the physical aspects of aromatherapy. However all positives stop there. She does not explain the oils and their function or contradictions. There is nothing about the effects of the oils on emotions or moods. The recipes include too many oils as I was taught the more simple the recipe the more effective, I.E no more than three E.O’s, this book has recipes that have over 6 different oils, and she fails to explain why the oils in the recipe work. Not one mention of Rosewood or Ylang ylang. I disagree with the selection of oils. Over all I was disappointed with this book. It’s a good book for a home remedy kit. Not a good book for an Aromatherapist.
