Customer Review: Not as good as it could have been
If you have a basic knowledge (i.e read other books) of aromatherapy than this is NOT the book for you. I bought it expecting lots of tips on using oils to ease some of the more uncomfortable aspects of pregnancy but I was disappointed that this book is more of a “Basic Guide” to aromatherapy and didn’t really go into much depth in the pregnancy and childbirth bit. Still, it was helpful in stating which oils should not be used in pregnancy. Okay for people completely new to aromatherapy, but disappointing for the slightly more experienced.
Customer Review: Excellent Reference Book
I bought this book towards the end of my pregnancy and did wonder if it was going to be useful after I had my baby - it has proved to be an invaluable reference book. Clearly written and informative with an alphabetical list of ailments and the essential oils useful for them - I return to this book time and time again for myself and all my family.
